About Us

This site is managed by the Southern and South East England Tourist Board, trading as Tourism South East.  We are the strategic tourism body tasked with assisting and supporting the tourism industry in South East England, with offices in Eastleigh, Hampshire and Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

Tourism South East LogoThe region we cover includes Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, East Sussex, Hampshire, Kent, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Isle of Wight and West Sussex. The principal public funder of the Board is the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA).

As a public private sector partnership with more than 2000 Commercial and 70 Local Authority members, it is our aim to support and assist a competitive, growing, profitable and sustainable tourism industry in South East England.

Our mission is to create the conditions in South East England to allow the local tourism industry to be successful, develop and grow. We hope to achieve this by providing high quality support to our members, lead regional marketing campaigns, encourage high skill and customer service levels, support regeneration projects, lobby on behalf of local businesses and set up strategic partnership projects.

Tourism South East also plays a leading role in representing the South East England tourism industry's interests, raising awareness of the economic and social significance of tourism and encouraging a supportive political and policy climate.
