A Victorian Festival of Christmas 2012
On the first year of Christmas my true love gave to me… a Festival to make you happy! 13 years on and that is still the case as Portsmouth Historic Dockyard will once again step back in time for the magical Victorian Festival of Christmas.
Taking place this year from Friday 30th November to Sunday 2nd December 2012, you will be magically transported into a Dickensian-style bygone era of beautiful snowy streets with Victorian characters and toe-tapping entertainment in Fagin’s Tavern. Unearth unique gifts for loved ones at our Christmas shopping and Hampshire Fare markets and no Christmas would be complete without a visit to our traditional Father Christmas (dressed in green!).
Tickets include entrance to the Historic Dockyard attractions and lots of new features for 2012 are being planned!
Be magically transported to a Dickensian-style era of snowy white streets with seasonal carols and colourful characters and enjoy some toe-tapping entertainment in our ever vibrant, Fagin’s Tavern.
No Christmas would be complete without a visit for the young (and young at heart!) to our traditional Santa (dressed in green) and explore the world-famous attractions; HMS Victory & National Museum of the Royal Navy, Mary Rose Museum, HMS Warrior 1860, Action Stations and Harbour Tours.
Discover unusual presents at our Christmas Gift and Hampshire Fare Markets.
